We had a great turnout for the festivities. We had close to 30 product vendors, demonstrators, food booths, historical re-enactors and we commemorated the Stone's Prairie Riot of 1860. (See that page
for more details). We had 3 music groups:Ned Behrensmeyer,
Ragtag, and the Country Bluebirds. Sarah danced along with
some of the songs. We started at 9 am and ended at 5pm.
The quality of the products for sale was exceptional:
handmade rugs, beautiful jewelry, woodcrafted products,
handmade soaps and journals....I could go on and on.
We had people demonstrating rail splitting, flintknapping,
rope making and more. Ned brought his goats and one had
a set of twin doelings with her. I would like to thank everyone
for their love, support and hard work. God Bless....
